Yep, Gaylord just doesn't hold the same connotations for Americans. There's a whole chain of hotels named Gaylord Resorts. If you're a country music fan heading for the mecca of the genre, you might just find yourself staying at the Gaylord Opryland resort.

Though it must be mildly amusing to them, given that they named a well known movie character Gaylord Focker.
