I'm not sure about all this 'Wolverhampton are in control of the match' that Sporting Life keeps feeding me

:(

Because McGhee doesn't like him

Or if you want a grown-up answer, it's because Leon doesn't really suit the defensive, scrapping formation we've put out, with OGH not deserving to be dropped after some of the useful things he did the other day.

Well Hoddle has a hat-trick of 1-1's under his belt now. What's the betting it's a quiet 2nd half?

I'd certainly take it

No disrespect to OGH especially after he scored but I would still much rather have Leon in the team than him. He's our best player and has actually been playing well in recent matches, so he gets rewarded by being dropped again. No wonder he's thinking of leaving.

Working on the logic you explained there LI, Leon would only start about five games all season and they would all be at home.

There, is that more grown-up for you?

I certainly wouldn't have dropped Hart from the team. He'll give you 110% every game.

I would have dropped hart over Leon every day of the week. Hart is full of work and deserves his place but not at the expense of Knight. IMHO I would have put Hart in Midfield instead of Harding. LI does have a point about knight not being suited for this type of game and on early season form I would agree but in his last few games he has ran his socks off and battled for everything which makes me think he is up for battling games now.

I didn't see the game on Sunday so I can't pass comment on Hart's performance of late, and I can hardly argue with the fact he's put us ahead in this game but I do think it's odd that McGhee finds time to praise Knight after the Stoke game, claiming it was his best performance under his stewardship, and promptly drops him in the next game he's available.

I have to say I'm resigned to losing Leon in the new year, my only question is who out there realises his class when he's not even playing for us? The thought of him leaving on a free after refusing to sign a new contract owing to his not being in the team is properly worrying

Don't wish for things that you don't want to happen. Actually, got a surprising stat for the Leon fan club but I'll save it until after I've finished work :( today.
