Virgo, back in defence, was immense. Seemed to win everything. As did big Guy (if only Gary Hart had let the big man's header in, I had him at 33/1!).

Tut Tut ... he was 50/1 at BHABet ... and a percentage of your stake would have gone to the club as well

I backed Butters at 33/1 to score first goal as well - tannoy said it was Butters as well at the time!!!

Great result though

Interesting tactic for Harts goal.

With the corner about to be taken Hart was moving around well inside Wolves goal net. This seemed to distract and unsettle the Wolves goalkeeper and defenders.

As the ball was crossed, Hart came back over the goal line into the penalty area to get the scoring touch.
Nice move:D :D :D

It was a very interesting trip to Wolves. Hadn't realised that it was 13 years to the day since my only other visit. Back then it was a derelict ramshackle ground with one stand condemned, a crumbling terrace that we got to stand on, one completely missing side and one fantastic (for the time) stand. It was the only time we have lost at Molineux.

Seeing the ground in its finished state was a slight disappointment. Now it looks a bit bog standard for that size of ground, rather than the really good stadium it would have been if finished at the same time as the rest way back when.

I thought the match was very reminiscent of the Forest game earlier this season. We scored very early and for a long while it looked like it might be enough as they had a lot of possession but were very profligate in front of goal or simply ran out of ideas in the final third.

The atmosphere was crap - I couldn't believe how quiet their fans were. There didn't seem to be any encouragement from that quarter at all.

However, the Midlands seem to be a happy hunting ground for us (with the exception of Derby - the last game I went to, where we were gutless). Hopefully we can replicate this performance at Coventry and even a little further north at Sheff Utd and Rotherham
