Must reserve judgement until we've seen how the game turns out of course, but on first reaction, it does feel like a team picked with other priorities in mind, even allowing for the injuries. I'll be delighted if he proves me wrong, of course, but Peupion couldn't get in a Cheltenham team that went ten games without a goal, still less a win, in League One. But he starts at Wolves in the fifth round of the Cup?

You seem quite capable of doing that yourself!
Peupion is quite a tricky winger, he can cross, beat players and knows when to shoot. Just because a lower league manager doesn't pick a player that's been loaned to him, doesn't mean he's not deserved of a place in our team. A lot of the loanees this year weren't/aren't getting picked.
I'm not having a serious dig at you, but watch some U21 games on youtube, you'll see there is quite a few who can and will be able to slot in seamlessly

When is he going to play him? He hasn't started for months. He gets 15 to 20 minutes once a week.

My guess is that he thinks there is a deficiency in Baleba’s game that he can fix with coaching. It would seem odd for him to say he’s going to be a great premier league player if he’s written him off.

Absolutely not. Baleba has been available all season and hasn't had a start for months. Moder is working his way back from a horrendous long-term injury. Maybe Baleba will start at the weekend?

Bit harsh, sir. Just expressing an opinion - I don't speak, as has been thrown at others on here, in certainties. It's just my impression of the selection, which I believe I'm entitled to on a chat site? I'd be very happy to be proved wrong, as I said. It's not like I've said he's useless, that RDZ doesn't know what he's doing, that we're going to get thrashed etc.

If we're not even allowed some measured comment on what we see as an unusual team selection without being insulted, that doesn't leave a lot of room for debate.
