Wireless broadband help needed...

Have you tried switching it off and on again?

Acquiring network address means (I think) that although the 2 devices can see each other, they cannot comm together until the source gives out the network address or the receiver accepts the address....

Ignore post...someone beat me!

right click in the window, click mark and "drag" over the selection and then right click

then paste it into here

can you give me the "ip address" of the wireless network connection and all the information below that [subnet/gateway] etc

under ip configeration it says

the blurb in the wireless adapter manual says something about encryption settings

i wouldnt worry about that, for some reason your wireless card isnt even talking to your router properly.

have you tried following the manual properly? [no offense]

Well, thing is the manual doesnt open properly (on either my laptop OR pc)

so i dont really know what im doing.

f***ed off now.

adding insult to injury is the afct that the sky connection on my PC is now running slower than disabled sloth.
