You really can't beat North Face coats...had a McMurdo parka and Ama dablam (sp?) for about 4 years and they're beauties!

Might treat myself to a Barbour international next weekend....decisions decisions!!

Me too.

Ive had a black North Face McMurdo parka for 3 years, and it is superb. Like wearing a 10 Tog duvet to a football match.

Here's my new winter coat, it arrived today. A timeless classic I think you'll find.

I put my winter coat in with the drycleaners on Monday.
Should hopefully get it back tomorrow AM. It sure was needed this morning!
Has lasted me a good few years for a couple of big ones £.
Probably won't be looking to a buy a new one for a year or two more.

I have 2 jackets

Firstly a Burberry Duffle coat.... still as good as the day a brought it some 10 years ago

and Secondly a Barbour Linhope lightweight .... The prefered weapon of warmth now days.

Both expensive jackets (well i think so) but worth the money for quality and lasting.

Whilst this seems a long time away, should I use moth balls or cedar chips for summer storage of my new coat? It's a wool/cashmere mix btw.

Bought two new coats last year, black firetrap hooded one for general / football (similar style to that billabong one) and a Peterwerth wool one for work / going out etc.

They'll do this year too, but keep seeing nice coats so tempted to get a new one
