He/Him
That's what Barwick said today at the Copello news conference, the footballing nation was out on it's feet and the people asked him to go out and get a world class manager and it looks like he'd delivered, well done Brian.
Barwick is a WANKER with a capital WANK
"Now we have a manager who can turn this England team round"
The main reason it f***ing NEEDS turning round is because of your utter INEPTITUDE in appointing Gingerflaps 18 months ago, you gormless slaphead.

Barwick wanted O'Neill last time around but was out-voted by the committee, this time it is solely his and Brookings decision. Perhaps if they'd have let Barwick get on with the job last time we wouldn't be looking for a new manager now.
Give it some more thought then.I've given the matter a lot of thought and decided that I really believe an English manager should have been appointed. What, after all, is the ENGLAND football team all about? National pride, that's what. And how can a bloody I Talian have the will and desire to make another country's national team a winner? And what happens if we play Italy? Sure, he'll really really really want to beat his national team!

The notion that Capello would sabotage the England team if we ever faced Italy is ridiculous. Sven always tried to beat Sweden whenever we faced them, no question. He was just rubbish at doing it.

How many times do I need to get it through your thick skulls?? Barwicks first choice was O'Neill, after that he approached Scolari, both of these the country would have been happy with but for differing reasons they didn't get the job, then we went for the outstanding english candidate in McLaren, who perhaps with a bit more support from the media and supporters would have qualified for the Euro's.
That's all history anyway, Barwicks brief was to go out and get a world class manager and a winner, how ever long it took, he's got a winner with a capital W and it's only took a month.
What he said - the FA should be ashamed.
They have tacitly accepted that their own Football Coaching programme isn't good enough to produce an English Coach for England.
It's a farce.
Sack the Italians! and the FA
