You're working under a certain assumption that everyone is going back to Brighton. What about those who live in Lewes, Eastbourne, Newhaven, Hastings etc?

There is car parking for 2,300 multiple-occupancy-only cars.

There will be three, rather than two bus P&R sites at Falmer.

Will there be a cab rank? And will they take travel vouchers? (yeah, right ). Should imagine 5pm Saturday is one of the quieter times in the cabbying day, and reckon many would be glad of the custom. And four people in a cab into town would work out about the same price as the bus or train.

Surely most of the people travelling via public transport will be coming from Brighton though, including the away fans? I really hope you're right though. Don't get me wrong, I've always been 100% pro-Falmer!!!

I will miss the Withdean because it has been the first real home of the Albion for me, like many people have said. Ok, it's not great and it's quite depressing in a way when you want to bring friends of other clubs with you, but they're not keen because they can't see the game from the away end anyway, but in general, I like the place. I really do. My first season was our first at The Priestfield, which was glorious if we're honest. :lolol: I didn't see a single win in my first season as a fan! Brilliant. Barely saw a goal, which makes it easier for me to be so annoyed by the ineptitude of this season...

Back on topic though, who can forget the momentous times? 6-0 against Mansfield, 6-2 against Kidderminster and 6-2 against Torquay too. The Millennium goal for Darren Freeman in the 4-2 against Exeter, the 3-2 defeat to Chester when everyone went absolutely potty and demanded Adams out, the debut of one mr Bobby Zamora in the 1-1 against Plymouth, *that* friday night against Rochdale when we lost 4-3, the annual 4-0 thrashing of Blackpool, the Cullip header, all the Zamora goals (especially the screamer against Halifax), The Swindon play off game, the Bournemouth centenary game, Manchester City of course, the 5-1 pasting by Stoke because we got to see the first goal of the genius that is the Loftman, the 3-1 win against Reading which practically gave us the old second division title, the list really could go on.

Will I miss the Withdean? Yes. I will be an ever present when we host the reserve games there!

I won't miss it all, not a single bit.

I thinking yesterday that even at Millwall the experience of watching football is so much better.

Possibly the dullest game I've ever been to.

I'm so glad I went to the Goldstone. I don't think I'd be going now otherwise; if I didn't know what was possible.

Good point well made.

You missed the 0-0 with Luton this season then? And then 1-1 with Walsall last season which was piss poor, and the 0-0 with Hereford this season. And the 1-1 with Bristol Rovers. If the Bournemouth centenary game was the dullest you've been to, christ, considering yourself lucky!

No, they were all very dull, you're quite correct.

It's unfortunate there were so many examples of dull games to choose from.

The Bristol Rovers one was most annoying, it was my 21st that day, so instead of being pissed out of my head and hauling myself up and down West Street, I was sat watching a truly pathetic game of football.

Give me a pathetic game of football over West Street any day.

West Street

I have to be honest, I concur! Given the choice of getting pissed in some tatty and poorly run pubs, or watching some tatty and poorly run football, I pick the Withdean all day. Besides, the night life is great in Brighton...

No, although I was happy to return back to Brighton after the Goldstone was sold and the dark days at Gillingham. We've had a few good promotion seasons and the Zamora years, but its not a proper ground. I want a roof and an end where I can sit with people who want to passionly support the team again.

The rail link is very slow from Falmer into Brighton though, As for Withdean I wont miss that place one bit.

??? I am sure that the train is far quicker than the car if you are heading into Brighton. Will miss Withdean for the memories of good games and Championships but won't miss the actual Stadium but look forward to Falmer - may even be able to get the bus there direct from where I live and just hope the bars stock draught Harvey's.

Can you please turn off the blue font its very annoying and hurtful on the eyes. Thank you

Goldstone gone!

Personaly i was gutted when we left the priestfield for withdean!
Thought our kent holiday home had more atmosphere, stayed dry, bloomin good day out. Wont miss withdean.
Not sure on falmer think it needs corners filling in and a real supporters social club, got the feeling we might be disappointed.

I honestly don't remember that game, that would be the 06/07 season, perhaps I missed that one. I only got my season ticket in 07/08, and then this season.

I thought the 0-0 with Peterborough was utter tosh earlier in the season, that was away of course.
