Abort, retry, fail
3. getting away from the english

I could go on

Please do not take this as a sleight, but I thought you were a fan of cruises and that they are swarming with the English? Interested to know the demographics of a cruise....really.

I fancy a trip to Croatia this year. Any recommendations gratefully recieved. Also spending a week in Southern Scotland for some Horse Riding event.

When you live in Seaford, you don't need holidays.

Ocean Village was indeed full of English, however we have chosen this year to book a cruise line where English are not in the majority. You can only put up so long with midlanders who think all southerners are scum.

We actually before, chosing Celebrity X, looked at MSC who are an Italian line.

I fyou are looking at Croatia, check out Francisco's Mediterranean adventure. he visits three Croatian Islands and Dubrovnik ( possibly the most beutiful City I have been to)

Yes. We'll be in Dorset and camping in Sussex

We have free accomodation in Cape Verde and love the Red Sea Riviera, but the thought of taking my one year old on a five-six hour flight fills me with dread.

I'm flying long haul to New Zealand next month - with a three year old, and two 6 month olds . Oh, and one wife.

Wish me luck.

We're thinking about holidaying in the UK this year. Recently got a puppy and a campervan so thought we'd tour the west country, stopping off for a few days here and there.

Holidays in the UK are great for kids. There are theme parks galore so you are never going to be short of ways to entertain them. I've lived in New Zealand, and outside of the beach season there is very little to keep littl'uns entertained.

Think I'll probably go to Dahab when I get round to it, but not so much for the sun/culture, just because the Red Sea's a lot prettier and warmer for diving than the UK.

And it's cheaper than European destinations.
