Would be in the clubs interest to finally pull off the signing of a target man. After the cracking start we've had, To announce the signing of Parkin would set us up for a positive season.

However on the flip side. To have to announce we've failed to sign yet another of our targets and it coincide with a couple of poor results then that would have the opposite effect.

It's time for the Chairman & Manager to put up or shut up.

I would like to see him sign, as he's a good player, but about 6 months ago on a night out in Ipswich he was in the same bar as me and a few work colleagues. He spoke to one of the girls I was out with and I jokingly said (as he was out injured at the time) if the Town wont give ya a game then join a decent team like Brighton.

He just laughed and pretty much walked off, and I would pretty much expect him to be thinking the same now about the speculation to be honest.
