No chance as they have already turned a bid down for Coventry and if by fluke we do have a bid accepted (as i dont think we have any money) coventry will just match our offer and they are in a division higher and won 1st game, i think they just throwing these names in to keep us fans thinking being ambitious eg horsfield (then went to leeds) dichio (knowing wouldnt join us as still in preston team) brighton (then went to a championship team.) i would much prefer to see us buy from lower leagues on players who done well and havent had chance in higher divisions eg currie worked, revell looks good 1st two games.

Chief executive Derek Bowden says that the Blues are yet to received a formal bid from Brighton for striker Sam Parkin. Seagulls boss Mark McGhee declared their interest in the 25-year-old yesterday.
Bowden said: "There has been an enquiry from Brighton about Parkin but no offer. We are under no pressure to sell and would probably not be interested in a player swap but rather a cash deal if a club came up with the right offer."
Last week Coventry had a bid of a reported £100,000 rising to £200,000 turned down, Sky Blues boss Micky Adams subsequently declaring that he had ended his interest.
Doesn't seem very likely.
