Surely to get a new CVA creditors that hold a majority of the debt have to agree to it ? If that's the case why would any creditor from the previous CVA agree to it ? Likewise, as a new creditor why would you agree to a new CVA having seen Pompey disregard the previous one ? Liquidation can only be a step away - hopefully, for us, that will be after the season finishes.

I really hope so. For a few years now I have been coping stick from Pompey fans at work who were also taking the *iss over ur defeat by Liverpool recently. They still say they are the best fans in the country despite not being able to fill Fratton ( despite price reductions) and having turned a blind eye to everything that has gone on at that club for the last 6 or 7 years.

I really hope they can limp on for another two months and I am certain that they will.
It takes time for debts to catch up via the legal system and 2 months is not very long. The only real way it could happen is for the administrator to go by the letter of the law and apply for insolvency as they are trading whilst insolvent. If that was likely, and based on what he is saying, he should have done so today.
Let's face it it is in no-one's interest to send them to the wall mid season. We don't want to lose three points for a start (and hopefully soon, 6 points)!

Pompey play at Reading next week, and Reading have refused to send them out tickets to sell on their behalf - presumably because they're worried they won't ever get reimbursed for them.

If they went tomorrow and their record expunged then Reading leapfrog West Ham for second place and Middlebrough jump from 8th to 5th, we stay 7th. Birmingham would drop from 5th to 6th, Cardiff from 6th to 8th, Burnley and Leeds swap 10th and 11th places, Watford and Peterborough move up a place each to 16th and 17th and Ipswich drop from 16th to 18th, otherwise everyone else stays where they are.

Going by what the Pompey fans were saying on Late Kick off. Some of them have had enough and hope the club going in Liquidation. So they can do a AFC Wimbledon and start in Non-League and work their way up the leagues. So maybe AFC Portsmouth could be on the horizon?!

Talking to someone at the club last Saturday, the club was considering this.
If the tickets are on sale at Pompey, something must have changed. What that would be - no idea.

The FL rules say that if a club goes out of business and folds before the end of the season , all the results are expunged so teams who have beaten or drawn against Pompey lose the points and all teams goal differences are also adjusted where applicable.
Seems to be a bloody unfair way to do it ... because Reading played crap against a team that's gone bust they are the major beneficiary. Is this absolutely the way it happens? Not to say I can think of a fairer way but must be one

Pompey are selling tickets to STH's , if we were handling the sales how do we identify the numpties ?
Please say no more like. We won at Portsmouth so it would hurt us in the league table Middlesborough drew with them, Reading lost, Cardiff drew, Blackpool lost, Burnley lost etc.

This is one of the issues the club was pondering, and was very reluctant to sell tickets without having PFC's database.
Which leads me on to a quick side point - would the Albion be allowed access to that database?

this incarnation of portsmouth can f*** off out of football as far as i'm concerned....absolute SHAMBLES of a club
the fans will still have a club to support, it'll just start off lower down, and who knows, it might even be well run and not be a complete disgrace to football
