No is the answer according to his agent. "Vicente will not be training with Brighton all the time there is no solution to his differences with the vlub" says Victor Onate.

Unless the club have agreed this to avoid any disruption at pre-season then I seriously hope we are not paying him any wages.

Disgraceful attitude. The guy is under contract with the club and should therefore be at training etc. until he is no longer under contract.

Am sure the club won't be paying his wages.

No player is bigger than the club, no matter how good his pedigree. We done alright when he was injured last year, we'll do alright without him again.

In summary, if he doesn't want to be here then he can f*** off. Simple.

Before anyone screams about being Charlie big potatoes, please remember we went thru this with Calde.

I must be the only one who just isn't that bothered about this. JFC will soon be a better player than Vicente.

Agreed.

I would like to see him back next season but won't miss him if he doesn't return.

If JFC is half as good as Vicente he'll be a full England International

Not sure about JFC becoming better Vicente. If we were willing to pay Vicente £15k to £20k per week, that should get us a decent replacement

One thing is clear though, he is PRICKING us about. I hope this does not distract from getting other new players in.

That's my worry. The club is much more important than the personal needs/wishes of Vicente.

Yep - this is my big worry too. Along with having to change our recruitment policy from where it was a week ago when Gus was building a team around Vicente. Without him, do we have a different formation, do we need different kinds of players, do we have to totally re-think our list of targets etc?
