Absurd. Of course I do but I still turn up when I am being paid.

But you're not a football player. They do not abide by the same sort of rules and have managed to manipulate the market to suit them. It's niave to think that do abide by the same rules.

(I am not saying that it's right)

Anyway he'll probably have his wages stopped and/or be fined, so who cares?

So you never think about changing your working situation or trying to ensure that you are in a stronger position to negociate?

Or do you just wish that you could and don't do anything about it?

What on earth are you talking about!? He is not meeting the terms of his contraact of work... he is in breach... do you not understand that him and his agent are trying to shaft our club?

I don't think you can ever apply a football scenario to a real-world scenario. The contracts and employment structures are so different.

None of us know what has been said to Vicente. The club may have been more than happy for him to report back slightly later than everyone else anyway considering his child-situation.

No, he was given an extra week to fcuk about and asked to report back today... he is now in breach of contract...

Loads of footballers breach their contracts. The market allows them to do so, there's typically some sort of fine and then a public making up (or in some cases falling out). As for the shafting the club. I don't think it's as straight forward as that. I just think that acting like a dick is how agents operate/negociate and unfortunately as before, they get away with because it's "football".

I HAVE NEVER SAID IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

They certainly should stop his wages...

To be fair, in all the approaching 40 years I have supported the Albion I cannot think of one other player who has failed to turn up for training in the middle of a contract dispute... maybe Codner? You make it sound like this is a frequent occurrence, it just isn't...

Now I know the world has gone mad, when people start mentioning that utter knob Codner in the same sentence as Vicente!!

More importantly, where has that video of the cheerleaders gone?
