If Swindon go out of business before the end of the season, the result would be irrelevant anyway.

Given our own history with pitch invasions in these circumstances, I'd be very disappointed if any Albion fans thought that having to replay the game later was such a catastrophic outcome.

The main issue for me is whether the publicity that an abandoned match would generate was effective or damaging to the cause. That's something that can only be decided by Swindon fans. Whatever they do should have our support.

The situation does look absolutely desparate for Swindon at the present time. A winding up order from the taxman is potentially very close and as the man with the fab former badge says there are people within the club's management structure who it seems will let Swindon die unless they get their wedge of filthy lucre having "failed to complete" different take over offers.

I know relations between the fans aren't the best after the playoffs but as/when protests are planned I would go on bended knee for any help Albion fans can offer. It's way beyond the stage where the actual match is important, if you know what I mean (as long as the fixture is fulfilled)

I try not to bore people with my affiliations usually but as far as I am concerned is crisis time, no mistake.

after a pretty miserable day, followed by getting absolutely soaked through playing football tonight myself only to return home to a house with no heating or hot water, the show of support from you all has genuinely cheered me up. sometimes i forget about the fact that as lower league football fans, we're all in it together. a good friend of mine from football is a town fan residing in brighton and we were chatting not long ago about the protest march that was organised for falmer and how he joined in wearing town colours. it's this sort of attitude that reminds me that the world isn't an entirely shit place after all!

i'm going to have a chat with a few people about getting a fans united day off the ground. the logistics shouldn't be too difficult, i quite like the red card idea - although the difficulty would lie in getting the club to allow us to hand them out. we were forcibly removed from the car park at the weekend for handing out leaflets.

p.s. i wasn't at the withdean on that fateful night and flew out to madrid the following day, suffice to say i didn't dwell on it very much. i've always had a soft spot for brighton as a town and brighton & hove albion as a football club. i don't think there is any proper rivalry, just 'football banter' as another described it.

Hand them out to fans in pubs, town, coming off the supporters coaches and at the railway station...you don't need to do anything as obvious as handing them out at the turnstiles...covert protest is often the best as those in authority aren't expecting it.
