[Albion] Will the ticket exchange open for Man City (Oct 23 2021), and if so, when?

Update; yesterday the club put a number of seats up for sale that were not previously available. There are currently 25 to choose from. All single seats, so no pairs. Who knows whether these will sell and if they do whether there will be further batches released. I think the answer to the question in the thread title may be no. The exchange may not open until too late (or not at all) against Man City when to all intents and purposes it was sold out three weeks prior. If that happens then what is the point of the exchange ?

I'm pretty sure it's open now and that's where AZ Gull's tickets came from.

The only way to test that is to put a ticket up for sale and see if it shows as available. I don't want to risk one of my tickets being grabbed by someone before I can withdraw it from sale, so I'm not going to take that test.

Go on.... try it!

No one would laugh if that happened....:moo:

Our tickets are listed on the exchange but not sold or available to buy. I don’t think it’s open.

Nope not open yet. My exchange tickets aren't listed or sold.

Maybe when the exchange gets opened they aren’t making ALL listed tickets available, but releasing them in dribs and drabs ? I was away so didn’t check whether ours were ever available for Arsenal but they obviously weren’t sold.

Just read that. So do you STHs get the full (pro-rata) price of your ticket refunded? (Less the £1 admin fee). No wonder the club aren't keen to open the Exchange any earlier, where's the financial benefit for them? Not being a STH I'd just assumed that you got a token £20 or something back - so maybe that's the answer? You get, say, half the cost back and the club keep the rest - having sold the seat at the full rate. That way they may be more inclined to open the Exchange earlier: they'd make more money and you'd get something (rather than nothing if you can't attend and the Exchange isn't open)

You only get the refund if your ticket sells

IF your seat sells, you get the pro rata rate back less £1, so about £24 depending on your seat. The club then sells for the matchday price -again depending on category of game and seat position, so say £40

So the club makes more money IF they sell

Jeremiah Bullivant seems to have an unhealthy obsession with Tony Bloom. His Twitter is full of allegations.

I genuinely only went on bluemoon to see if they were talking about their coming visit to the Amex.

But naively came across a load of innuendo about TB, I was unaware of this :shit:. The unregulated awful side of the internet …. paradise for liars and stirrers.

Must admit I’m surprised TBs lawyers haven’t been involved given some of the allegations on that bloke’s Twitter feed.

Sometimes its just better to let someone spread his bollocks in some dark corner somewhere rather than aiming the spotlight in his direction.

Maybe they are. TB is an expert in not showing his cards too early
