The name 'manager' does have some inherent responsibilities that are obvious, and with that it can't be ignored that he's ultimately responsible. He took his team to a foreign shore, they apprently acted like stupid pigs and/or criminals to get into that situation, and he's their custodian, in title at least.
As much as we revere the bloke, he is culpible, and the club have to be looking at him with some doubts and anger. Never mind the possibility of his walking out (which would be despicable to his employers and fans), it seems more likely the board would/should let him face the press and the clubs' shame, and then sack him.
Sorry MA supporters, but this goes beyond professional admirations and past achievements - if the allegations are in any way true, then Leics are employing the lowest of low on their books, and Adam's head is on the block!

People in the media are spilt over there view on Micky same call into question is control over the players others are saying that he has done more than is expected of a Premership manager. He has had hardly any sleep over the past 48hrs and has stood by his players. He looked shattered this must be the lowest point in his career. If only he had not left us!!

I don't think it's fair to blame Micky for this.The players involved are grown men,some with wives and children,surely Micky was entitled to trust them to not misbehave?

Can't see its any of MA fault. He has done wonders with the club with the resources they have. To be honest they shouldn't be in the top flight with the off the field problems the club has had.
The fact that all the players involved are senior players and most of them are married and/or have children speaks volumes for how badly they have let themselves down. You could kind of expect something terrible like this to happen if it was a bunch of 18-21 year olds abroad acting like idiots, but the fact that they should all have grown up by now and acted in a decent way, shows that MA has been let down.
I know MA was talking about quiting a while back when Leicester let yet another lead slip, and he was questioning if it is actually him who is letting the team down. So I wouldn't be suprised if he did quit, but I thing he will see the season out. Not sure what he will do with the players in question, if he had a decent squad and could afford to lose them, then I think he would sack them, but I don't think he will at this moment in time.
I would be a dream for MA to quit Leicester at the end of the season and lead us out for our 1st game at the new Falmer stadium in a year or two....

Either way, just seeing the TV pictures of Micky surrounded by all those cameras, I just felt so sorry for him. So far removed from his time spent on the south coast.
I have to say that I am very surprised that he is not the new manager of saints, but as this one has passed by, whether he walks or is pushed I think that shortly he will no longer be manager of Leicester.
I also don’t think he will have a problem finding another employer, just look at the number of time Nicky Law gets himself another job

I am always staggered at times like these when footballers think they should be treated as special cases, deserving special treatment, respect, sympathy, etc.
Why?
They are no different to anyone else and should be looked at in the same way.
By the same token why should Mickey be held responsible for their actions?
If you or I behaved like complete and utter idiots while on work/company business would it be the fault of our employer?
You may have seen in the news yesterday that a supply teacher in a Basingstoke school taped 4 childrens mouths up because they were being too noisy.
Whose fault is that? The school for employing her? The agency? The Education Authority?
Players on holiday or training breaks represent no-one but themselves when they behave like this, although, sadly, they unfairly tarnish the image of both the club and an honest man like Mickey Adams.
They should be ashamed of themselves and be prepared to act like men and take what is coming to them.

NMH - I couldn't disagree with your comments more. I admit to viewing Micky Adams as something of a God, but even if we were talking about some other Premiership manager in the same situation, my opinion would be the same.
We are talking about grown men here. Micky Adams cannot possibly be held to account for them. I am absolutely fed up to the back teeth of footballers not taking responsibility for their own actions. Ferdinand and his "forgetfulness". Wise and his thuggery (how the f*** did they uphold that appeal ?), and now Leicester players and their *alleged* sexual assaults.
Those players are a shameful embarrassment to their club, their profession and their country. Micky Adams was in no way involved in the incident. He cannot be expected to wet-nurse his players 24 hours a day. He should be entitled to think that, in his absence, they are fully capable of conducting themselves like reasonable adults, and not like a pack of f***ing animals.
If Adams resigns, I hope he does it purely for his own reasons, to disassociate himself from a disgrace of a football club (don't even get me started on the whole Administration / free stadium thing).

I wonder why they gave MA the title of 'manager' then?
Even though this band of tossers were on company business, the manager of this company of employees has responsibility all the time that company are conducting themselves while travelling.
MA has to take a lot of the responsibility, in my opinion.
He has to take some of the heat, no way he can wash his hands of everything while the club international reputation is shredded while on business abroad under his management.

I reckon the players should take ALL the responsibility for their own actions. This wasn't a party of fifteen year olds getting off their faces on alcopops. These were a set of late twenties to mid-thirties millionaire athletes acting like the lowest form of trashy dumb scum lottery winners. Which is what they are, more or less.
