Out of all of the clubs I think Villa offers the best possible route for him to the Premier with most potential but I do not see that as ' the special job'; he often talks about and says it would make him think about leaving for.

If he does go, (I hope to God that he doesn't) then Lee Clark would be my choice.

Way out west
Gus will not leave for any club that is not within commuting distance of his West Kent home as he does not want to uproot his family.

He might think about taking over at Orient as their chairman would such a great bloke to work with and a free hand with all their money and support, so would easily fill the Olympic Stadium.

I cant see him leaving yet, I hope he gets us promoted 1st then I wouldnt mind as much if he did leave, as many mangers would be interested in joining us.
I think if he does leave, even in the championship there will be a VERY long queue of managers wanting the job, we are now a great well run club, who thankfully won't piss money down the drain like so many others thanks to TB.

Meopham, Kent.
This is a complete non-story, based on no quotes, sources, or facts.

He will leave us one day, and who knows, it may be one of these three clubs that come in for him, but there is no reason to believe this story was based on anything but a journo sitting there with a piece to write.

he'll only leave if Chelsea or Spurs approach imo can't see that happening though, but if he did leave for villa, i'm sure TB will get a suitable replacement.

Not to those 3, but to a 'special' one...

I agree. Gus has a long term deal with us to move the club forward. Most managers are judged on performances over a short period of time. Gus does not have this pressure ...yet!

bollocks, why is my opinion always the same as the masses on these polls,
really need to get a mind of my own...
do think it would take something more than an offer from either of those 3 tho, (with no disrepect to villa), think o'neill walked for good reason, big 'eck is on a hiding to nothing, and would probably be the same for gus, club not in the best of positions for gus to go and make his mark, where as we probably are
