England normally put in a very decent performance somewhere before exiting a tournament. I am hoping it will be this one with the massive advantage of it being played at home. Both sides have not looked impressive so far . 2-1 the good guys.

I've gone for a yes, before penalties, because we're capable.

reality will be very diffferent I'm sure. I have rescheduled and just need to get home by 5 which shouldn't be a problem, I'm sure there will be lots of people knocking off early on Tuesday.

If I was entertained I wouldn’t even consider a moan, win or lose. I have not been entertained so although i’m not actually moaning, I am definitely not enjoying it (the tournament yes but not England) so far
If Germany won every game to the final 1-0 from now on they would be labelled efficient, If England did the same would you call it efficient or boring I wonder ??? Just once in my lifetime to lift a major trophy would be incredible and I wouldn’t care how we did it tbh.

Will watch if free and of course want England to win. However to sum up my enthusiasm for international football I would prefer Brighton to win first game next season than England win Euro

I find that strange it’s a time to forget about club football and the pending seasons struggles. Each to their own I guess.

BHA have 37 more games to reach their target. If England beat ze Germans, they'll have just 3 more games to reach theirs.

If BHA win at Burnley, you'll have forgotten about it within a week. If England win their first major trophy in 55 years, I'd wager that would be something a bit more memorable.

Weirdly I'd rather take relegation with Brighton next season in exchange for England winning the Euros this summer.

Will England beat Germany?

Would Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Toni Kroos get in the England team? No they wouldn't (and no, it's not just because they're German).

We have three clean sheets. We have real quality in forward areas - Mount, Foden, Grealish (yes, I know), Rashford and Sterling. Then there's the B team of Saka, Sanchez, Bellingham etc.

We can do this. 'I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else' - Winston Churchill.

The players we have are great, whether they will perform or the tactics allow them to perform I'm less sure. Gone for win though, keep the faith.

I've voted yes we will beat them, out of pure optimisim only.

If we are to go out on penalties, I hope its Slabhead that misses it!

I understand that completely but I was about 14 when we won the World Cup, now that was fecking THRILLING!

The years after that were also great to watch too but since Euro 96 I really have struggled with watching England at tournaments
One Teddy Maybank thinks just like you, feck the quality just give me the win. I think that there are quite a few others on here who feel the same, we are all different

Not for me. A World Cup win and I would probably agree. The Germans and Italians don't have 4 stars on their jerseys in reference to winning this tournament.

All indicators say no.

But that bloody optimism just won't swap whispering "maybe, maybe this time"

I listened to three lions on my way to work this moring 2 plays of each version.

I can't help myself.

disappointment and let down are on the horizon but until then I have blind hope and scarce dreams.

I love this game, I hate this game

Summed up perfectly. By the time Tuesday comes around I will feel like I’m 10 years old again. All the belief and hope ready to be destroyed by a lacklustre performance.
