Fantastic, isn't it? Here we've got a case of Spielberg aligning himself with bhafc4eva. Says it all, really.

Gubber, for the sake of his own sense of self, would LOVE to see Wilkins and the Albion fail - completely irrespective of what the rest of us feel. It would make him feel so worthwhile about something in life...

I can remember back to Billy Lane, who was a good manager.Since then we have had good, bad and indifferent managers, but we've never had a manager who hasn't been subject to "You don't know what you're doing < insert name here> effoff you useless ,clueless turkey."

Part of the rich pageant of the game, really.

And Mr Wilkins STILL looks like a rabbit in the headlights.

So after the home defeat by Bristol Rovers looks good.

jeez - we have no money (everyone knows this), can't attract big names or big crowds (everybody knows this), we are punching above our weight at the moment (everyone knows this)

and still some people still want the manager's head. :nono:

bit harsh Al, thats something I cannot accept , I do not rate Wilkins to be fair never had but to criticise this present manager I am wanting the club to fail, what planet are you on, I backed McGhee, Taylor and previous managers it was trendy to slag off by the double standards of NSC hypocracy but becuase it does not fit your agenda that I do not hero worship Wilkins like you do I am accused of wanting the club to fail with some side swipes about what a failure in life I am compared to your wonderful life achievements. Get yer head from out your backside, with respect old chum

Toasted turkey club sandwich from EAT for me with a Coke light. I prefer pepsi max but couldn't be bothered to walk the extra 20 yards along Cannon Street to the sweet shop. Very nice but still hungry, should have bought a yogurt as well really.

You can always support Carlisle as they have sacked their manager after one game. Would beat your 6 games. Too many numpties on this board as usual.

The final league position and way we played for most of the time under wilkins last season was no-where near acceptable. So going into this season he has big things to prove. The only thing we cant accpet is another relegation battle and if after the first 10 games we look like its going to be one of those seasons then im afraid time is up for wilkins.

He's now more or less had two transfer windows, a full pre-season and if after all that were not going forward, with a squad that is at the very least good enough for the top half then its time.

To sack him now is not realistic...but lets say only 2 wins from the first ten...!

How do you think McGhee performed in his last full season, Uncle? Why did we get relegated?

No funding when we needed some investment in the team and LDC did there bit as well. But it was the championship a much higher standard of football than where we are. I want BHAFC to be as successful as possible, we just disagree on the manager to deliver that, to be accuse of wanting the team to fail is pretty low really but hardly suprising really

In a pile of football shirts
Sod 6 games, make it 4, and take that donkey Forster with you. And also we don't want any of the boys you signed, or Savage, or Whing. In fact, if you don't win by 5 clear goals on Saturday just take the whole team with you and MA will come back and use the Brighton Ladies team to storm the league.

This looks like a knee-jerk reaction to the Crewe defeat, pure and simple.

Wilkins achieved 2 objectives last season:

1. Keep us up
2. Give the kids a season to gain experience.

He achieved both of these, and has since bought well. Dick Knight has said he'd be happy with mid-table for this season, and with our squad this should be achievable.

I can't see Wilkins being sacked this side of Christmas, regardless of results.

This board has so many double standards it's quite boring!

If wilkins messes up and has us in or near the relegation zone after 10 games, how can we still keep backing him. we nearly went last season. Nice guy or not....it would be madness to keep backing someone who is not good enough..

But I'm hoping we will be flying after 10 games...then all this sack talk will be put to bed.....I said PUT TO BED...*boom*boom*

:clap2:
