If he doesn't win at least 5 of them he can f*** off. Thats the same treatment our last manager got, and he achieved our highest league placing in about the last 10 years.

Wilkins out now.

but McGhee had a full season and 3/4ths really, Wilkins has only had the 3/4ths so far!

How can you compare the situations of Wilkins to McGhee, BHAFC4EVA?

Wilkins deserves every chance to build his team. This is his first chance at shaping the team and having complete control of pre-season, he has made a couple of cunning signings and by all accounts we were unlucky to not get something from the Crewe game. But you would sack him six games in...? That does not make any sense in the slightest. We are still in the hunt for some loan signings and they will need our backing on Saturday. He has shown some faults, but also some real promise. Results improved when he was allowed to tinker in the transfer market and the end of last season can surely be attributed to fatigue and injuries of key players as well as some other mitigating factors.

Who would you replace him with? Let me guess, Micky Adams...?

Just chuckling at Charlton
Crikey give the bloke a prayer, he is still learning the ropes in football management, of course he has and is going to make mistakes, but so do Ferguson, Mourinho and Wenger.

As Palace have found out changing your manager every 5 minutes does absolutely no good whatsoever.

this board really does seem to have been taken over by people who moan and moan and still seem unable to get over the fact McGhee has gone. Its getting dull now

I think we are the Spurs of the Coca-Cola League...1999-2005 was relatively good so there was not a great deal to complain about on the pitch but we must have had it too good because as soon as things look mediocre Albion fans start whinging.

People were turning on the manager last season when nothing was going actually wrong and it will happen again this year.

Wilkins has to be backed although he does baffle me.

Albion & England forever.
