Help me out my friend, I'm new to all this forum chat.
What's a div?

It's not a forum thing, it's a slightly dated insult meaning idiot. Its origins seem to be under dispute, according to the urban dictionary:

-Actually originates from prison slang in the UK. A job often given to the lowest inmates was to put cardboard dividers into boxes. Someone given this job was a 'divider' or a 'div'. Now used as an insult to those who display stupidity.
-Div is a scouse word for idiot. It is short for divvy which in turn is a corruption of Deva. The Deva Hospital was a well known mental hospital (since renamed the West Cheshire Hospital) on the outskirts of Chester. Chester was founded by the Romans who named it Deva. Go on - you're impressed, aren't you!
-Derived from "individual needs child", a cruel schoolyard insult. Not at all politically correct.
-Divvy...a person who is a bit of a waster, or is unemployed. Comes from the dole, which is DIVided to the unemployed. A shorter version of this is the word Divv, which also means the same thing.

i think the second two definitions are far too complicated, especially for the playground. the first two are interlinked, the first seeding the second, shirley?

Also, the main board very cleverly takes your words and randomly provides links to products and services it thinks you may be interested in, in this case NIKE Men's Non-Cushioned Crew Cotton Training Socks (Pack of 3)
Well what can one say, truly amazing.
Brilliant forum!

In my computer
We need a scoreboard for various NSC common events:

a) Number of times someone starts a thread requesting the big board be split into "football" and "other" and gets voted down
b) Flounce Tally
c) Leaving early complaint thread tally
d) Fixtures usage tally

etc...

The list of foodstuffs I dislike is not a long one: artichokes - mainly because I can't be further than 10 yards from a toilet the entire next day, oysters - for the same reason but this time with added vomming, oh and baked potatoes. Horrible things. As I've mentioned on here before, take a pair of well-worn small old-fashioned cloth slippers, whack them in the oven for a few hours, et voila: same taste, twice the nutritional value. If that makes me a div, well, so be it.
