I reckon thats a class rather than a wealth thing, I bet that a working class boy done good type with a big house would've tipped.I think different rules govern the super wealthy. If you have so much money that a few million here or there isn't going to make a difference to your lifestyle, then the need to keep hoarding money is bordering on a physciatric condition. I'm thinking Nicholas Van Hoogstraten.
Of course, the comfortably off middle classes are considered rich to some. It always irked me as a kid doing a paper round that the tightest Christmas tippers were always the rounds on the long meandering lanes with multiple 4/5/6 bed houses and a merc and jeep outside. The more working class areas with houses nitted next to each other always paid a lot more!
