Because she wasn't even a lesbian?
It wasn't even a road?

Discuss.

Are you having an existential crisis.....

....... perhaps on behalf of the Beaver and the Road?

If a lesbian crosses the road, but there is nobody there to see her, is she still a lesbian?

You have just reminded me of the fanzine Come Over The Dyke.

That wouldn’t be getting published in 2020

Tony Millard once quipped at a Gulls Eye Dinner that Martina Navratalova was most disappointed when she turned to play at the Brighton Centre Tennis and discovered Dyke Road was only a road.

Years later I repeated the comment at a Wooden Spoon Rugby charity auction at the cricket ground, it still went down well, but afterwards I received a complaint from a 20 something Gent who said his girlfriend found it offensive.

My colleague at our table suggested in fairly basic language that he didn't bring his girlfriend back the next year!

To celebrate the opening of the newly painted Pride crossing on the road. The crossing symbolises that gay, straight, queer, lesbian, bisexual are who we are. It wasn't actually the sexual orientation of the person crossing the road that mattered right? It was that there is a community, a safe and comfortable place for everyone to be who they are.

Many people stop me and ask me where I acquired the fine timepiece I wear on my wrist.

Imagine their surprise when I tell them it came to me as the result of a misunderstanding.

You see, when the lesbian couple next door asked me what I'd like for my birthday, I said....

I wanna watch...

I'll get my coat.

I'm sure Viz launched a lesbian road safety campaign with the slogan: 'Think once, think twice, think Dyke'

Exactly, as you can tell from most of the posts that precede this!!

Is it painted in rainbow colours instead of the traditional black and white?

I had a very lovely young lodger once that was a lesbian, she used to walk about in her underwear and even naked at times.
What a frustrating period of my life that was.
