Having (almost) finished a masters myself, I'd say go the the Metropolitan.

I didn't think at my age I'd start meeting people I'd be friends with for years to come.

Completely different environment than work, where you will find people you actually have something in common with.

I'd say that's worth more than 6 grand.

Also a kick up the backside from a lecturer, ( even though she is ten years younger than you ) isn't a bad thing.
