Why are the BBC not covering the Para Olympics?

Good luck to those competing in the Para Games and whilst I have admiration for them all,I personally have absolutely no interest in watching the games myself.

Rubbish!
They have sold almost all of the 2.5 million spectator tickets already!
There is, clearly, a large amount of interest in the Paralympics.

The people I know who have bought tickets for the Paralympics have only done so because they could not get tickets (or could not afford them) for the real Olympics and want to see the Olympic Park and are hoping to get a bit of the flavour of the whole thing.

They have no real interest in the Paralympic events.

We have tickets for the Paralympics. We also had tickets for the Olympics. We also went to nearly all the free Olympic events, and will attend the free Paralympic events too. We didn't pay more than £20 for Olympic tickets, and haven't done so for the Paralympics.

FWIW, we have tickets for the Paralympics, and are really looking forward to it.
Just as proud of our disabled athletes, and their achievements, as I am with our able-bodied athletes.
