Not very easy to say definatively which is THE best in Brighton as one would have to have tried the majority of dishes in ALL the Indians in brighton on a regular basis to allow for changes. A hard job, mind you I bet theres a few on here would be happty to try!

There is one on Prestoville Rd. I haven't lived there for a time but I remember it being top drawer, really quite super duper.

Reckon you are thinking of Kamals. Opposite the former Marquess of Exeter pub (think it is now the Chimney Pot).

Agree with you 100%. The best tikka'd chicken anywhere, been using it for donkeys years. Agra in Ditchling Road ain't half bad either.

Not the one I meant , that is on prestonville Rd but I know Kamals and it is exceptionally good.

Yessir, yessir eat a curry in a hurry, express yerself to Mumbai Express it sho is a tasty Bhaji boss, yessir indeed. Smiles and chapatis, one on your face one goes in yer belly. Oh massa, eat dem curries, eat dem alls up.

Corrction, you can't eat in, well you can but few things i life would be more depressing. Eat dem curries. Eat dem with sam rice hoss.

I heartily concur Sir.

Regular Friday itenerary

1. Sneak out of office early to get the 5.30 Gatwick Express from Victoria
2. Hit The Round Georges shortly before 7
3. 3 or 4 pints
4. Nip next door to order curry
5. Back into pub for another couple of pints
6. Collect curry, go home and scoff it.

Their Chicken Achari is immense.

That pretty much sums up a curry night for Nibble too

Hmmm, have a guess
Haven't seen anyone mention Spice Nutriment, Queens Rd (although I did skip page 2). The freshness and the breadth/depth of the taste is legendary - but you will have to wait for 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get it.

Worth the wait.
