Sorry to tell you this, but there are parts of the North Stand where dropping the 'C-Bomb' will get you a stern telling off.......

Too right, I hope the same people are keeping an eye out for any raised hands as well, armed with a hefty ruler.

Instead of safe standing we should petition the club to lock people in their seats like theme park rides as well.

Who's that number 5*
Who's that number 5*
You fat *******, you fat *******
Who's that number 5*

* change number for the fattest player in the oppos team.

I particularly enjoyed a chant at Peterborough, I guess it would have been 2001. Some CHUBSTER Posh fan was giving the classic open arms, goading towards the Albion supporters. We then netted, and started chanting:

Fatty, what's the score?
Fatty, fatty, what's the score?

Put that Fuc*ing board down.

In retrospect we should of seen what was going to happen to the goldstone as soon as he was ousted .

I'm claiming ownership of starting that chant, me and my brother used to shout it sometime in the late 70s/ early 80s (minus the expletive) at the board man as he wandered past the East stand chicken run at the goldstone, no-one ever joined in with us until one day we were old enough to go in the North Stand and as we started to chant it at him everyone else started joining in with a few adding the F word, my brother and I were delirious with joy that we had instigated a chant in the North Stand!

It was a great song back in the day when we were away in divs 2&1 at the smaller, closer grounds. The player we would pick on would certainly hear it and sometimes turned round to face us, if it was their goalie he would get pelters if we were behind the goal.
We had real edge away from home and great humour in those days, grounds like Peterborough, Crewe, and many more were great days out especially when Bobby was smashing them in.

Hopefully football has moved on from puerile chants . Especially now a lot more kids attend games at the Amex, I don't miss that type of chant at all.
Absolutely....puerile,

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII'm a knock kneed chicken,
I'm a bow legged hen,
I haven't been this happy since I don't know when,
I walk with a wiggle & i talk with a squawk,
Doing the Bolton boot walk.
Na na na na na na na na na na

Who ate all the pies,
Who ate all the pies,
You fat *******,
You fat *******,
Who ate all the pies.

The 2016 version would need to accommodate the scenario that they'd not been eaten, but it was yet another catering mishap.

Kemy Agustien ? ? ?

In the east middle next to the SS at the Brentford game and about a dozen or so 'new age' fans in the lower east started doing the Icelandic grunt thing. Just as I started to cringe, the Brentford lot piped up as one with "What the f***ing hell was that" at full volume all pointing at them. :facepalm:Didn't hear much more from the new lower east 'firm' after that. Did tickle me though.

It's "I'm a bow legged chicken I'm a knock kneed hen"

And I'm pretty sure our version was closer to the original - "... doing the Brighton wig walk'.

Whatever that is...

I don't sit anywhere near that stand, but did read on here that the fans doing the Icelandic clap were actually from Iceland.

Should have identified themselves appropriately, maybe the Brentford lot would have been kinder.

Monkey Nuts!!! Evening Argus!!! Never mind the forgotten chants, football at the Goldstone wouldn't have been the same as a kid in the 70's without a paper bag of monkey nuts, excitedly waiting to watch it kick off in the North stand and the Old Bill wading in.
