You have more patience than me. Add Alan Judge from Notts County who was mentioned at one point and Simon Church from Reading (even though Naylor said we were interested and then that our interest had cooled within a couple of hours) and the perennial Simon Cox from Baggies rumour!
If we get three or four from that list there are going to be some very excited fans doing some laundry in the next week or two

Yup! The lads are in at 9am tomorrow for a welcome back and fitness tests - it's later in the week that some of them will regret not working a bit harder in their time off
It is a bit early and I think there is a danger that they could be over-trained and leggy come August but we have a better background team than ever before so sure they will get it right.

One would expect this week to be a very easy week just getting assessed on what they have done or not done during their time off and the hard work will start the week after.

David Albelda free agent last club Valencia 34 years old ex Spanish international defensive/central midfielder probably played with and knows or is friendly with Vicente looking at his wiki stats.

Interesting........someone on there is also very insistent and well informed about Owen's discussions with the club.......lights blue touch paper and retires......

no - i would be delighted but Bridcutt might not be quite so pleased
Gardner if we sign him is not exactly a defensive mid so Bridcutt is our only real specialist currently. It would be unwise in the extreme to go into the season without an addition in that position and for it to be an experienced international who Bridders could learn from and develop alongside would be stunning. That said it must be long odds against signing him.
