Who would you put in goal if Kuipers was sent off/injured?

I don't understand why he's suddenly stopped giving Sullivan a place on the bench.

4 outfield substitutes and a manager with ideas should be plenty of options in my opinion. We all know from playing Football Manger etc how hard it is to cut the number down to 4, but for me its simple cost benefit analysis: whilst there are examples to the contrary, an outfield player in goal means a defeat.

Also, by not including the reserve keeper on the bench, it surely can only further alienate him from first team life, if and when he is called upon, as well as make him unhappy.

I think it's a bit risky too.

Sounds like Sullivan had another good game for the reserves aswell.

Seems a bit strange to me as we have quite a few utility players to choose from, surely there is enough room on the bench for a sub keeper. Not wanting to get into the Kuipers yay or nay argument again but he's been injury prone in recent history so you would have thought that even more of a reason to have a sub keeper.

I do not agree with no goalkeeper sub. It is a poor state if the manager cannot decide the other 4 subs from his squad. How can we expect him to get the team right. At home it is 1 defender 1 midfield 2 strikers away it is 1 striker then 3 either defenders or midfield or combionation of not rocket science. You are then covered for all eventualities.

DW excuse was the players were tired and he wasnt sure how it would affect individuals, why not he is the manager for gods sake, that is what he is paid to do make decisions and stand by them right or wrong..

He did. There's nothing like encouraging your reserve players by telling them that you aren't even needed on the bench.
Why should the reserves even put the effort in when they know they're not going to make the bench? What motivation do they have?
I feel sorry for young Sullivan.

deano is the best manager we could have he is brighton through and through i do not understand our supporters why do we always get on the managers back he is doing a good job he should be left alone to do it without idiots posting on this and talking on the radio saying we should get another manager get a life

Just because someone is Brighton through and through, that doesn't make them a good manager.

If it did, then I would be a good manager.

Nobody is doubting him generally as he has proved to be right but on this particular issue he is 100%wrong.

Other than the fact that we would get beat I would love to see MK sent off after about 2 mins on Saturday with a controversial handball ouitside of the box and then us play for 88 minutes with either of the other 2 in goal.

Absolutely ridiculous - fair enough if Bas or Fraser were GOOD goalkeepers, but not just because they show 'good agility'...jesus!
