Hard to compare as different positions but I agree with another poster - Burn is a nice guy who tries (but isn’t up to it albeit is often played out of position) whereas Best is a W.ANK.ER who had a big attitude problem

Good God, why the need for a poll? Dan Burn, although never ceasing to surprise me, has been a great success on the left side of defence until recently.

Burn is a decent defender. He always puts in a shift and imo is great cover for first-picks White, Dunk and Webster. But when I see him marauding at the attack end, trying to make an assist I do wonder what Potter is on. He is clearly being played out of position at times.

Burn is ten times the player that Leon Best was, but I should be played at left back on a four on the left side of central defence. It’s not his fault he is being asked to be something he is not.

Yep. Last night showed fairly conclusively that Burn isn't the player you want playing in the opponents half.
We normally play 3 at the back and Burn should be competing for the left sided centre back role. He would have a strong claim to a fair bit of game time due to the balance he would give the team and his composed passing.

Burn does try and all Best thought he had to do was turn up.
Sadly seems to be a trend on NSC at the moment.

Surely if you are comping Best to anyone it should be Elvis, Spanish Rodney, Obika or Farrington?
Targeting someone in this way, who gives their absolute all game in game out (often not in the ideal position) seems worse than usual.
Aside from anything else, Burn has done himself proud past couple of games.
TBF it’s what to expect from a very stupid poster.
He's been called a wanker on countless occasions and isn't bothered. Bit like Das Reich. I wonder if they could be related?
