Mine was a bunch of players in Hove Park - they used to go over there after pre season training and play cricket with us kids - Jimmy Collins, Wally Gould and Bill Cassidy among them.

Wally Gould. He got on the same 39 bus as an enthusiastic ten year old fan at the Old Steine. He was travelling with his kit bag late one Saturday morning on his way to the Goldstone and had time to chat to us. I can't imagine any footballer catching a bus ever these days.
