IMHO it is immaterial as I do not think MA will be going not until we are at Falmer at least.

A few weeks ago I would've agreed with you (because I thought it was only a matter of time before MA turned it around), but if we lose our next few games, lose sight of safety and relegation becomes the genuine probability, I'm sure he will go. However much DK wants to avoid sacking him, if the majority of fans are screaming for his head or simply not coming to games he will be left with no alternative.

What an utterly, utterly, pointless thread.

Oh come on!

It's harmless fantasy football in the main, you know,to make up for the lack of real football at present.

Why isn't Seven Gorran Erikkson on there, with Tord Grip?

Oh! Because we'd get Leyton Ling.

Sorry.

alan knill would be the man for me. it wont happen, as if adams goes we will be paying off ANOTHER manager, and therefore won't be able to pay compensation to bury. his teams keep the ball on the ground, they play pleasing football, and if it wasn't for a change of board and the 10 points deduction, then im certain he would be rotherham manager still - and he has a set of scarves STRAIGHT out of the austin healy catalogue

cotterill would be good as well - anyone but martin allen. the guy is a f***ing joke by all accounts, and would do a far far worse job than adams

I'd love Gary Johnson at the club....the bloke is a winner.

It'll never happen though.

When we were at The Goldstone and had a much better set of fans than we do now. I used to be proud of my fellow fans, now most of them are an embarrassment. :nono:

Thats harsh, most of us were at the Goldstone!

I've always wanted Danny Wilson as our manager as has Dick Knight I believe. However very Northern based at the moment. Anyway Adams is here to stay so poll is more than a little premature.

Swindon's hardly northern is it? He never seems to do that well though.

He did get Barnsley into the Prem though.

Yeah, but then Micky got Leicester into the Prem and doesn't appear to have what it takes NOW. I think we should do what we did when we got Micky first time around: identify an ambitious, tenacious, promising younger manager who has had a bit of success at at least one other club. Alan Knill or Andy Scott would fit the bill!

Yeah but a lot of the new fans are embarrassing. Expecting success all the time and booing when we don't get it. That's not what Brighton fans have been about up until the last 3 or 4 years.

BHA have always been a bit 'Spurs-esque' in the nature of our support, strongly favouring teams that entertain in the short term over longer term progress. Remember the boos that used to reverberate around the Goldstone during the (very successful but rather dull) Mike Bailey era? I think some people have rose-tinted spectacles: our support at the Goldstone in the '90s was usually p*ss-poor with very similar attendances to what we get now, and not a great deal more atmosphere either.

Paul Ince would be my first choice. I don't think Curbishley is at all realistic (despite agreeing that we are not unattractive to potential managers), whereas Ince has said he'd take a League1 job. He's got more to prove. I thik if Curbs hadn't played for us no one would mention him.

None of the others listed inspire me greatly. Cotterill would be a good appointment.

Most of these options are unrealistic.

If they were all possible, I'd definately have Roy Keane.

However out of the options, I went for Aidy Boothroyd
