Otto Rehhagel (like I give a flying f*** about it, I'd just like to see the Burberry-clad knuckledraggers get their head round having a German England manager)

I'm going on holiday to Cyprus in the summer, but I'll be back by the knockout stage. Leave the slaphead goon in charge for the group stages (surely even Sven can't f*** that up), and I'll take over from the 2nd round onwards. I'll even do it for FREE (as long as my expenses are covered).

Snorted

:lolol:

Four times as many people have gone for Allardyce than Mourinho. Err, why? Can someone explain to me how Sam f***ing Allardyce would do a better job than European Cup winning Jose Mourinho.

Well do you think Mourinho would leave Chelsea to manage England?

I'd love him to manage England but it won't happen.

I'd rather have my grandmother than Allardyce though.

Because I don't think anyone realistically expects that Mourinho would take the job. Hell, I'D have Mourinho as England boss ahead of Allardyce, but its not realistic, is it.

I can see no reason why Erickson should not be manager. That stupid story in the New of The World should make no difference. He was talking about what he would do after he has won the world cup with England. What he is reputed to have said about Beckham Owen etc was probably said in a totally different context than it was reported.

The lowest of the low newspaper journalists with an imagination to report what they think should have been said not what was actually said.

Well as i see it, we either stick with the swede or give it to the only sensible alternative anyone on this thread has suggested, Easy10 from the knockout stages onwards

Ericsson until after the World Cup at least - after that, someone like Hiddink I guess; no English manager is ready, although Pearce looks good.

Not sure people other than the press really care what nationality the manager is, as long as the manager is getting results.

It is just our gutter press likes to build people up to then knock them down and with Sven any angle will do.
