I may be missing something here but what is wrong with the supporters club only having a few hundred members?
If their main purpose is to run coaches for people who need help getting to games etc, surely the only important thing is that those supporters who need help have access to the club, which they do.
Some people need help getting to games. Liz et al do their best to provide it. What else REALLY matters?
People need to chill out or offer to help.
But they arent the ONLY option for away travel, and in fact for the Leeds game at the weekend it cost MORE to travel on a supporters club coach (£40) than with Seagull Travel (£38), not to mention there is the Blue Away and the Mid-Sussex groups as well. To be honest it isnt very difficult to organise a coach anyway, just phone up, agree a price/pay it, get an amount to charge people to travel, collect the money, liaise with the club your travelling to and then turn up on the day with the coach - cant think ive missed much out there.
And people saying about the effort she puts in, true its a lot and it should be commended - but there would be HUNDREDS of other Brighton fans who would do the EXACT same thing (excluding stupid quotes to the press of course) - i fail to see why shes bigged up so much. Id rather Bozza was the voice of the fans.....via some sort of NSC vote thingy, perhaps him and Liz Costa should team up.
there was no misquoting regarding the 50% gay ratio.it came out of her own mouth on a radio interview for all to hear.

Nice of you to volunteer his time.
I believe the issue is that if the supporters club has so few members compared to the number of fans going each week, are they really representing the fanbase? So when LC is in the news talking about a controversial issue as the 'voice of the fans' when it seems most people disagree it riles them up
I'll agree with that. I've only ever been on one coach to football where the driver didn't allow us to drink and even then we still did.
Hang on, why couldn't she have screamed for a PoliceWOMAN. Women can make perfectly adequate police officers too you know, Liz...
It's 2013. This kind of blatant SEXISM makes me sick to my stomach.
Liz is available at all times, Bozza even disappears from here.
Exactly. I have no issue with the supporters club. It is clearly edging towards a slow and painful death.
Does Seagulls Travel have postponement insurance? That might account for some of the price difference and how do the coaches compare? Just wondering.
No, membership is creeping upwards. Just stick to facts eh?

Christ I am just reading it now. Useful because I could do with an afternoon nap.
Six things posted on there in the whole season. Total waste of time.
April 24th - a shared post trying to support Slough Town's efforts to get a new ground
March 20th - sharing a link of Sky Sports goals v Palace
February 7th someone's attempt to paint the AMEX.
January 29th - another painting of the AMEX
September 1st - "Four new signings on transfer deadline day, Orlandi, Dobbie, Lopez and Hammond. Exciting times ahead this season."
August 11th - "If you didn't make the AGM, it's still not too late to join the Supporter's club. It's just £5 a year and it's worth that just for the 12 newsletters sent out by email or post monthly. If you use the Supporter's coach you also get a £1 discount on each trip."
I bet it will get more following it just by putting it on here!

Dont believe so and to be honest i didnt actually know the SC had that so fair enough then the extra bit of cash is worth it, my point still remains on organising coaches.
Whilst were on facts, where is it shown that membership is creeping upwards ? Whilst i agree it could do with A LOT more members, it needs to be made more appealing to join, not to mention the main mouthpiece to the media to stop spurting out nonsense from time to time.
