Well, being some 42 years of age I went to the lot of em! Went with a mate to uncle's house in Wembley the night before final...taken to his local, which was full of Manure fans but proceeded to get as drunk as a skunk. At the replay....just could not hold back the emotions! Ah...memories!

I'm afraid I cried as well after the replay.

I was only 16 though:lolol:

I went to every cup game except the final replay, I just couldn't afford it!

I still think Liverpool away was the best!

Being nearly 40 I can remember the Norwich, Sheff Weds and both Final games. The semi will live long in the memory although Mike Robinson's winner was hard to see it had gone in until he went mental celebrating.:clap2:

Went to the Final with a mate who is a Palace fan then the replay with my brother. Had to miss Maths A Level revision!! Spent most of the game singing as we needed snookers by HT.

Oh for another cup run - at least we've got to round 3 this season!! Wouldn't mind a trip to Man City for a new stadium and a good day out.

I was 15.

Went to every game apart from Newcastle (A) on a Wednesday night & the first final.

A Man U fucker nicked my brothers flag after the replay - bastard.

Went to both games at Wembley, the semi at Highbury. Gutted not to get a ticket for the home quater-final against Norwich but stood on the hill behind the south stand and could just see part of the North Stand goal.

What a run we had:clap2:

Saw every game in that amazing run apart from the mid-week replay at Newcastle.

Went to the final fully expecting us to get beaten. It didn't matter though because the Albion were fulfilling one of my long time ambitions. l had looked forward to the day when they trotted out at Wembley in an FA Cup Final.

The line up with nicknames:
Graham Moseley (Mose), Chris Ramsey (Yifter the shifter), Graham Pearce (Jack), Tony Grealish (Paddy), Gary Stevens (Grease), Steve Gatting (Gatt), Jimmy Case (James or Casey), Gary Howlett (Fish), Michael Robinson (Robbo), Gordon Smith (Smudge), Neil Smillie (Speckie) & Sub, Gerry Ryan (Gez).

I remember the journey back so well. It seemed that most main roads around Sussex had gatherings of people with blue and white scarves etc., and they were waving at coaches and cars containing returning Albion fans. Never to be repeated scenes.

Because we had come so near to winning the final, I went to the replay full of anticipation. Sadly I admit that, after the fourth goal went in, I left my nineteen year old daughter in the stadium and I slunk back to the car, a broken man.

I was 4 and living in Dubai at the time.

But bizarrely I remember my Dad and his mate watching it on the box. I just remember a blue team and a red team. I didnt care much for football then.

Little did I know.....

My Dad went, but he didn't take his 7 year old son with him.

:nono:

To be fair, '83 was probably the first time I was actually aware of a thing called "Brighton & Hove Albion".

I went to both - thoroughly enjoyed the first but not the replay. There was no way I could applaud Man U for winning - they ruined my dream and I hate them anyway!
