Due to my business I've met quite a few 'famous celebs' but I'll just mention two..

In second place - Eric Cantona - a hero and a legend.

In first place by a long way - Jill Dando - simply the best.

I have been lucky enough to meet a few celebs with my work. Amongst them; Chris Evans & JK Rowling & was interviewed by the Top Gear trio, but the most friendly one by miles was Terry Wogan. What a great guy that man is. As for the biggest arse I have met... without doubt, Jonathan Ross. Trust me, he is so far up himself it's unbelievable.

I guess most people wouldn't admit to it. I have however but didn't mention it.

I did meet Tony Dorsett - Dallas Cowboys running back in a bar in Dallas, shared conversation with him and something a bit stronger.

Dave Grohl.
Plenty of Brighton players over the years, Spent a night on Sammy Nelsons sofa once (used to work with his son) & most recently accosted Ben Roberts at Clacket Lane services.
Also my cousin used to be on Eastenders.

Interesting Sammy Nelson fact.... did you know he was in the group of golfers that found the charred body up at the Dyke golf course a couple of months back?

And a kiss from Anna Kournikova (when I was 6).

Gah! Some people have all luck! Only famous person I ever got a a kiss from was former Conservative Prime Minister Sir Alec Douglas-Home. All I can offer by way of defence is I was a baby at the time and had no say in the matter

Taking the wording `famous` as meaning `important`: Nelson Mandela. What an incredible man and a gentleman.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Was part of a briefing party that briefed them prior to their trip to the Arabian Peninsula in the late 80s.

Oh, and, in the flesh, she was lovely

My wife's sister is married to one of Chris Eubanks brothers, Have met Chris quite a few times, nice guy !! Actually got to know Chris before that before he became world champion. He used to be based in a house in that little tiny road directly opposite Waitrose in Western Road. I was based in an office down there and would speak to him most days in his run up training to become world champion for the first time. God thats going back.

Through work as sponsors of Sussex Cricket Club I have had the pleasure of meeting various cricketers. Some nice, some that quite seriously were stuck up the own backsides. Met the likes of Vaughan, Pieterson, Warne (again as per previous post)...I could go on but by a far mile the most interesting man I have ever had the pleasure of meeting was John Snow (fast bowler for England & Sussex). He joined us in our marquee down at Arundel and his knowledge of the game and more importantly the stories he could tell were totally unrivalled. Always had a lot of time for Chris Adams who always took time out to show the kids some shots.

Pinamonte on the tube with loads of Brighton fans on the way to play against Orient, he was completely baffled when everyone starting singing about him. Never saw him on the tube since

Turning this subject on its head a little, my dream would to have met George Best, stick in Paul Gascoigne and Oliver Reed I dont think you'd remember too much the next day
