Fulham looked awful yesterday after they scored and completely fell apart at the end. It'll be between them and Newcastle but I just fancy Newcastle to have that bit more about them in the squad they have.

I still think Newcastle: scraping a draw with Spurs at their most Spursy was not unexpected but they have a tough run of matches coming up. I can't see them getting many points before the Sheff game.Fulham just need to get it together for a couple of games - Wolves and Burnley are both winnable - before beating Newcastle on the last game of the season.

If games against Wolves and Burnley are both ' winnable ' then surely their last two v Leeds and Villa fell into the same category. You want to play clubs that are in a comfortable, non - challenging position. I felt Fulham would get something from both those games and so did Parker. He was gutted. They have now lost Lookman, arguably their most dangerous player and their defensive frailties are there for all to see. They fell apart alarmingly yesterday.
My points tracker only has Fulham getting 34 points, beating Wolves and Newcastle, drawing with Burnley and Southampton, and losing to Arsenal, Chelsea and United.

Wolves and Burnley are just above the relegation zone. Villa are after a Europa league place and Leeds are comfortable mid-table: I don't see them as remotely similar.

Nightmare scenario Fulham and Newcastle both need a point to guarantee staying up at our expense.

Fulham’s going to have to get some points on the board before we start worrying about that. And that’s assuming we don’t pick up any more points.

We have a dreadful run in and there's always one team that are "too good to go down", but do. Sadly i think that could be us.
We have to face facts that we need 4 ( or at a push 5 ) more points to stay up.

That Newcastle point against Spurs needed to be 3. Before they were 2 pts clear, now 3 clear but Fulham have a 3 goal better GD so still only need one win more than Newcastle.
Put another way, equal all Newcastles results up until the last day when they have to beat them.
It really is going down to the wire with us watching from the safety being well gone with one more win.

If you keep going against consensus long enough you will get one right.

Then you can have your 'I told you so' moment.

Ha! Don’t you think Potter deserves to get us relegated. ? Anyway - Talk us through why you think we’re going to lose 6 or 7 out of our last 8 and Fulham are going to win 3, draw 1 of their last 7. I guess we might but this is what you’re saying.

I can't see us picking up more than 4 points from our remaining games. It's gonna be a squeaky bum finish again.

I feel reasonably confident that we wont be relegated this season.

My concern is that despite the fantastic talent we now have at the club.. ( and have had for most of the season ), with players such as Dunk, White, Webster, Macallister, Llalana, Bissouma, Lamptey, Veltman March and Sanchez, yet we are still floundering just two places above the relegation zone.

It is only because Sheffield Untied and West Brom have been so shocking this season that we are not actually in the bottom three.

Bad luck doesn't follow you around for 30 games.

I got 40/1 on us, West Brom & Sheffield United being the three to go down.

Wonder if any of the negative loudmouths on here have put their money where their mouth is?
