maybe. I see him losing his place to Locadia / a.n.other next season if we stay in the prem. CH is pretty ruthless when it comes to upgrading positions in a team, and Murray will be no exception. He'll be 35 in September. Playing mighty fine right now of course.

Kit Napier is next with 99 and then, it's Peter Ward with 95 (shared with Bobby Farrell)

Can't see how Stephens, for example, could have scored 112 goals in Cup matches on top of his 62 in the league, even allowing for wartime matches!

Scored a lot during WW2 when there were mickey mouse league games but no formal competition (we lost 18-0 to Norwich with half of our team made up of spectators!).

Well, he didn't get many of the missing 112 goals in that match, then! Seriously though, I don't think we can count anything except for proper first class matches when we're calculating records - even wartime internationals don't count for caps.
