He had put #96 so I asked if he was claiming the goal at Walsall Tim Carder credited to him and he has now edited the post on instagram.

I think it was. That hat trick game was one of my most treasured football memories. It was amazing! I remember the crowd singing either Albion or Brighton or seagulls. Not often you'd get that at an international.

IIRC it was a record attendance at the time for a U21 game in England. It was indeed a most memorable game. The NS was jam packed.
