I really do hate to say it but Scannell was very good, and when Zaha got his mind on the game and stopped having a tantrum showed why he is Young player of the year, the wanker.

I don't remember Scannell doing a thing all game. In fact, I don't even remember him playing.

I might be going mad - but I'm sure K. Phillips played the entire 90 minutes. I remember commenting at the time on what a good all-round performance it was from him (ie. not just a cameo from the bench).

Blackpool: (4-4-2) Gilks; Crainey, Evatt, Baptiste, Basham (Eardley 58); M Phillips (Sutherland 58), Ferguson, Clarke (Ormerod 58), Southern; K Phillips, Taylor-Fletcher. Subs not used: Halstead (GK), Hill.

You're right. Maybe the three subs gave Phillips more service?

I'm not sure why Kuyt gets a mention but not Maxi Rodriguez or the racist Luis Suarez. It was that TRIUMVIRATE that produced the best football Liverpool played against us this season.

Also I thought West Ham's two centrebacks were imperious.

Although neither of those are individuals. :)

Bit of an obvious one perhaps but Koren for Hull was very good.
