Stand outs, for me:

Lee Cattermole (Sunderland). Really surprised, as watching MotD I've always hated the bloke, but he was Sunderland's best player by far.

Jon Williams (Palace), the one of the Palace youngsters who really stood out as quality. Zaha and Scannell catch the eye with the fancy shit, but neither of them contributed anything to the game, until Zaha scuffed his shot into the corner in the 75th minute. Williams on the other hand was class. Composed and careful with the ball. Gus would do a lot with him.

Dirk Kuyt and Craig Bellamy (Liverpool), speed of thought and movement, way above anyone else on the pitch.

Liam Trotter (Millwall), Gave the Albion defence a torrid time. Strong, quick and skillful. If he was consistently that good, and stayed fit, Millwall would be five places higher in the league.

Kevin Phillips (Blackpool), class is permanent.

Just far enough away from LDC
Agree with Trotter - although Kevin Nolan for West Ham gave a dominant performance.

Kevin Phillips for the impact he had, clinical finishing.

Would also suggest the best individual opposition performance was by the Ref in the Burnley game. Miaow.

Damn. SKP was on my original list -forgot to include him. Definitely up there.

Trotter for me. He terrorised our defence for 90 minutes. I would like him to be on our shopping list. Exactly what we have been missing

I did enjoy watchng Suarez during the Liverpool game. Miles better than anyone else during that game

Actually I would say donny gave the best performance......

Turned up, put in a shift, nearly spoilt the party of all parties, score d the first goal, only to present us with a 12 foot high cake with candles and rockets in the 96th minute, to give us the Day of Days.

George Boyd was superb until he went off injured.

I would say Bellamy and Suarez, don't forget that Liverpool could and probably should have had 4 or 5 goals in the first half of that game.

Meopham, Kent.
Bellamy for me. I just couldn't believe he was knocking around in this division with Cardiff last season.

If Jon Williams has a brother, Michael, then we're in for a bright future.
