Quote from the story linked:
"I have this image of us as pickpockets when we overload," he says.

"Maybe not so much pickpockets, more like close-up magicians. You think you see everything but there is so much going on - one player drops, another moves away - and then suddenly, boom, we steal this thing that everyone thought they had their eye on."
This woud be so fun! And it would fit well with our dribbling merchants

Not watches saints all season. Russell Martin plays decent stuff. Not shocked he is one we are linked with.

also surpised to not have heard any links with copenhagen’s head coach jacob neestrup. they were impressive whenever i watched them in the champions league this season, he’s maybe a bit young for a move to the premier league but his style of play looks like a very logical next step for us after RDZ

We need a steady pair of hands at the tiller. Someone with plenty of experience preferably.

No thanks. But how about we tell Chelsea we're planning that?
Ah, the old quadruple cross. Like it.
If it was the good old days of WW2 we could strap a briefcase to a dead tramps wrist with a list of shit managers titled "Tony's Top Secret Manager List" and drop him in the Thames somewhere, then sit back with a fat cigar and enjoy.
But it's not so we won't.

I won't link it because it's The Sun, but among all of the rumours and speculation, I was amused to see an article that asked AI to come up with the most suitable candidate for each of the huge jobs available this summer. The list of clubs was Chelsea, Man Utd, AC Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and... you guessed it.... Brighton & Hove Albion. :ROFLMAO:

By the way, don't bother finding it: Ralph Hasenhutl!!? (I suspect that 'AI' they asked was powered by an intern and a dartboard).

Agree. Especially with some understanding of Emotional Intelligence, knows their history, got a midlands-ish accent, about as lively as a dead fish, can suck though their teeth like a vacuum cleaner on a cobweb, knows that it is what it is and is prepared for the easy life at Brighton.

Any candidates spring to mind?

Premier league next year is an almost carbon-copy of the 22-23 season, just Ipswich there instead of Leeds. And all the promoted clubs are going to try and play football, and all the clubs who stayed up are going to be in at least their third season. Its going to be an interesting - and tough - season. Probably a terrible time to be changing manager....

But, if its a carbon-copy of 22-23 why not start it with the manager we started that season with?

No, AGAIN.

I think everything is just a prank! Like Bobby Ewing stepping out of the shower a season or two later, as if nothing ever happened. RDZ will of course stay for another year or two!
