I won't link it because it's The Sun, but among all of the rumours and speculation, I was amused to see an article that asked AI to come up with the most suitable candidate for each of the huge jobs available this summer. The list of clubs was Chelsea, Man Utd, AC Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and... you guessed it.... Brighton & Hove Albion.

Agree. Especially with some understanding of Emotional Intelligence, knows their history, got a midlands-ish accent, about as lively as a dead fish, can suck though their teeth like a vacuum cleaner on a cobweb, knows that it is what it is and is prepared for the easy life at Brighton.

And all the promoted clubs are going to try and play football, and all the clubs who stayed up are going to be in at least their third season. Its going to be an interesting - and tough - season. But, if its a carbon-copy of 22-23 why not start it with the manager we started that season with?
