It's a good point, but... they may not need 90 points (it's never taken that many), and 106 points in a season is difficult because teams have bad spells - Villa have had theirs. If 88 points is enough, they need 53 points from their last 28 games - for comparison, Burnley got 59, and Middlesbrough got 53 from their last 28 games last season.For Villa to secure 2nd, say you need 90 pts they need to average 2.32 points per game, that equates a 106 points over a season.
