Is this sacrilege? I normally expect England to irritate and frustrate me so I pick a team pre- tournament who I also give my support to without getting too upset when they eventually lose. I've had fun on the past following Nigeria, Romania and Russia. This year I'm gonna show an interest in Serbia.

Who else are you gonna follow with interest apart from England?

NZ or USA for me too. And the Ivory Coast, as I'd like to see an Africa team properly arrive on the big stage on their own continent.

Anyone but them, Its bad enough watching Drogba in the Premier League, the sooner they are out the better.

Group B: South Korea
Group C: England

Group E: Japan
Group F: New Zealand
Group G: Ivory Coast

I usually don't bother with the rest of the tournament once England are out.

True, but is there a current player who you'd rather not be playing against your team with 5 mins to go when you're hanging onto a draw than Drogba? The man scores SO MANY big goals it's mesmerising imo.

Or is that WHY you don't like watching him :lolol:

Uruguay for me, Gus, got money on them (Forlan top goalscorer e/w and to win group).
Italy, cant stand them, but need the sweepstake money, covers another couple of away games next year.

This is what I shall be doing too.

A: Uruguay
B: Nigeria
C: England
D: Ghana and Serbia. Anything to have both Germany and Australia out in the group stages would make me very happy.
E: Cameroon
F: Paraguay
G: Ivory Coast
H: Honduras

Out of those I will especially following Honduras, Ghana and Uruguay.
