Crucial game in hand tonight at Truro but basically need a point tonight and a point in the final game at the weekend or if they lose tonight they have to win the last game (both against playoff rivals). They have made a fantastic recovery since sacking Steve King and clearing out a few "undesirable influences" from the changing room which had dragged them into a relegation battle a couple of months ago.
Without wishing to tempt fate wouldn't it be fantastic to have a double promotion for us and Whitehawk.:clap2:

Truro and Hemel Hempstead away. Won't be easy!

It's the same as us, if you need two results you just have to go and get them.

Faint heart never won fair lady

Truro have 3 games in 5 days. Whitehawk tonight, Havant away on Thursday, Hemel away on Saturday. None of them will be easy with Havant fighting for their survival.

300 miles as near as dammit, nearly the same distance as Brighton to Middlesbrough.

That's a hell of a trek for an evening game

Or a 30 minute walk for me. Come on City!

Yes like Bloom has

Obscene at Championship level should be very different to obscene at park level. And yet the difference here isn't that big.

We lost £10 million on a turnover of, what, £20 million? So, about 150% of revenue.
If, say, Whitehawk were spending 150% of revenue, that's, what, about £50,000?
And they're not. Not when several players are on over £1,000 a week.

So, no, not really like Uncle Tone.

Cannot stand their fans, they're only fans because they want to be seen as 'different' from the rest of us. Their condescending manner of being 'real football' fans is unbelievable, they've only turned up as it's the latest hipster fashion trend to be a part of a non-league 'ultras' set up.

They are real football fans who show their contempt for the professional game and mordern football which is awash with money....by supporting a club that have bought their way about three divisions higher than where their natural level is

It's fantastic

Bit contradictory
How did Whitehawk get promoted 3 times.
Spending rediculous amounts of money on players wages.
It cost Eastbourne Borough £500,000 for the season with travelling and overnight stays to the likes of Barrow, Gateshead etc.
Hope Whitehawks moneymen have got big pockets

Thats a bit harsh - not too many hipsters on display there on the 2/3 times I've seen them this season.
