Whitehawk 2-0 up at HT at Hemel Hempstead. The dream of a double promotion is still on.
No its not, they missed out last year in this division. Not that it makes any difference as their ground isn't up to standard for National Conference so can't get promoted anyway unless they groundshare with somewhere else

Could always ground share with Langley Sports........

Fair play to Asensio, thought he might take the Hawks down the way he started. Am guessing they have Ebbsfleet who will be very tough, Hawks best player last season doesn't even get into Ebbsfleet's team?

Read my earlier post. I was referring to the Albion and Whitehawk when I said double promotion.

Ebbsfleet are a very strong team who were top for much of the season. Will be a tough match.

20 minutes to go for Whitehawk, sounds like they are having a lot of the play but no end product still 0-1 down

70: Arnold again, this time with a great shot on goal which hits the post and goes out - close! WHK 0-1 EBB

Looks bad, their only small ray of hope is away goals don't count in the second leg ,

Although they have a mountain to climb

Attendance 1,055

1055 is quite small when you consider Worthing had around the same for their semi final and that's two divisions below.

On my way back from the match. Ultras sang non stop from start to finish. A few lessons there.

Just beats Truro's 1,011 tonight. Can't imagine many travelled from Maidstone.

Truro have got a mountain to climb.

Here
Excellent game - Ebsfleet's expensively assembled side just edged it, although Whitehawk didnt really start to play until well into the second half. The away leg is on Sunday at Stonebridge Road and I might just get my ass up there - an old skool ground, recently renovated I believe, and there should be 2,000 + there ensuring a good atmosphere + the Hawks have nothing to lose so it'll be kitchen sink time.

out of the 1050 odd supporters 320 were from Ebbsfleet , rather a small turnout by Ebbsfleet but not surprising as to the venue
A few Eastbourne Town fans there singing alongside the Ultras !!!!!!
