Amusing that anybody would vote anywhere other than Connolly. And that's just taking a completely uninformed guess at the options, same as everybody else. I'm guessing his man-child 20-going-on-40 quasi-menacing stature might act as some sort of deterrent against all but the most determined assailant. The other poll options? Not so much

Can we go full on stereotypical here? Burn and Sanchez are both that big and imposing that they'd get targeted by the drunkest guy in the boozer. Physically strong titches are always nuts though so Lamptey has to be in with a shout. However, if it goes horribly wrong and you're on your toes there's the issue that they'd definitely catch you before they caught him :lolol:

I think, though, I'd go for Maupay. A nice combination of aggression and snideness and he'd use his Gallic charm afterwards to convince the Landlord it was the other guys' fault and have you back on your barstool by Tuesday.
The percentage of punches by Maupay hitting the target could find you on dodgy ground.

Saw a video of Spider Webster claim Dunk never gets in the gym enough, so on that basis I’m going with Webdini.

Best to have someone at your side who will get you out of the situation before it turns violent.
March seems like a sensible lad who could keep me out of trouble.
Bissouma is a streetwise character and has a likeable personality and could calm things down with good humour.
But I'm going with lamptey because nobody is going to start a fight with lamptey and if they did the whole pub would turn on them anyway.

Referred to as "Doug the thug" I recall. Would that have been in "Gull''s Eye", was he before that time?

Just checked up some info. He was transferred from Chelsea to us for the 1987/88 season and made 35 appearances. At Chelsea he was released because he was considered too slow and a reckless tackler. Says it all really.

Well they are all a bunch of muppets and far too easily rolled over on the pitch. Pity Big Shane isn't included in the poll, he is still an Albion player after all.

But from that namby pamby lot l'd probably choose Neal Maupay, he is a mouthy sod, and can throw in a few low punches.

Maupay would be the cause of the pub fight for sure - goading, pisstaking and general shithousery.....but when the serious stuff kicked off he wouldn't be in the first wave, he'd be on the sidelines shouting further insults and encouragement. Duffy on the other hand would be knee-deep in curled up bodies.
