Which Palace players would you take?

not lacking intelligence nearly as much as you are pal..remind me once again what the score was at your place 1 -3 wasnt it? First league defeat at Amex wasnt it?? Oh yeah and the 4 points we took off you would have put you in the playoffs... so thank you for that

You do realise that your team beating us doesn't confer on you any intelligence? And we are in the play-offs at the moment, you moron.

I'm curious how you manage to remember to blink, you come across as so thick. Quick question, Bustersdad - what's your favourite flavour of crayon?

Palace have a team of average championship players, a couple of which show promise. Sadly, that really is it for the Nigels.

I'd take Speroni as he'd be a regular.. other than that I'd pick up Zahahaha and Clyne - just for competition, no more than that.

Brighton's first 11 is superior in every respect bar goalkeeper, you only need to look at the league table to see that.

Simplistic view from a simple bloke. You're really saying a joint team would be all BHA and Speroni because you're higher in the table?

It's like me saying we're better than you because we got 4 points off you this season.

You have to admit the fact that practically EVERY Palace fan on the BBS has said they'd take NO players from BHA is pretty embarrassing and laughable, makes you all look VERY bitter.

Most on here have said we'd happily take at least 2-3 of your players to fill the squad with more competition. Easier to be graceful when you're in the ascendancy though, I know.

No. I'm saying a joint team would be all BHA and Speroni because our team is significantly better than yours, as proven by the league table. A table that is created over a long period, and not just two lots of 90 minutes.

Fair comment - BBS has some very one-eyed people on it. I must admit I haven't seen enough of your lot to pass judgement. CMS, Buckley and Vicente have obvious quality.

Biscuit - yes, you are higher, but not that much if we win our game in hand. So maybe a joint team would be 4/7 in favour of BHA, even 5/6 (Speroni, Clyne, Jedinak, Zaha, Ambrose).

All supporters will big up their own players, even if 60% of the time they're disappointing (Scannell, Murray).

Fair post.

I'm surprised Jedinak is rated so highly by you guys as the half dozen times I've seen him this season, he's be decent but not great. Really think Bridcutt is better. Ambrose is capable of the spectacular - some great goals and crosses, also decent at pens - what's he like defensively? I've seen him play loads but can't ever remember his contributions other than the goals/crosses. Not saying he's useless, more that I have a terrible memory.

Speroni and Clyne would get straight into our team, no doubt. Zaha I still think is ridiculously overrated and so I would prefer to keep Buckley/Noone/Lua Lua. Scannell is average as you say and I'm not sure about Jedinak or Ambrose. Williams would be a definite too

Paulie, I like you (not in a camp way)

You speak a lot of sense. Why not come over the the 'bright' side?

Cheers.

That's the rub isn't it - who's to say who is better between Bridcutt and Jedi? The latter does the water carrying well, but Bridcutt might do it much better. I don't know.

Ambrose is patchy and can disappear completely. So maybe not him. Jon Williams has only played 8 games so too soon.

Zaha is good mate. He can be a little up and down, but is unplayable on his day and getting more consistent. He's also adding goals. He can go down a bit but is kicked all over the place. just a very exciting prospect and come on leaps and bounds in his 2nd year.

I'll think about it. I like the look of this Amex you talk of. You could be my Prem side if you don't start losing soon (gulp).

Zaha would walk in to your side and every team in this division as well as 90% of prem clubs. The kid is different class
Zaha is good, and would add to all Championship squads. But walk into 90% of premiership clubs? So ignoring the 2 Manchesters, he'd walk into Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool? I don't think so.
WE DID BEAT YOU 3 -1 DIDNT WE?? Ok so you are a few places above us (temporarily) having played a game more, your run in is tougher than ours, playing teams above you (yes there are teams above you regardless of what your deluded fans believe) and we shall wait til end of season before bragging rights start.
You want to wait until the end of the season before bragging rights start, but you also want to brag about a game in September still? Ok.

However, we are the first team to win a league game at Amex and that will always be part of your history and it will ALWAYS hurt you
Er, no, we were the first team to win a league game at the Amex. That will always be part of our history, and a great memory. The second league win at the Amex was also ours, but that will be forgotten, because it's only the first that counts.
same as us taking 4 points off you and stopping you being in the playoffs will hurt you
We're nowhere near ready to go up, but we are enjoying trying. Assuming we don't make the play-offs, we'll be happy with our season, and if we point to points lost it will be games in the closing stages that we look at.

So maybe a joint team would be 4/7 in favour of BHA, even 5/6 (Speroni, Clyne, Jedinak, Zaha, Ambrose).
Yes, maybe something like that.

All I see at the moment with him is potential. He's brilliant at doing tricks and flicks but doesn't then go on to make the most of the space/chance he creates. That should well come with time but if you look at Theo Walcott, he's still not got it. Alright he plays well every now and then, but on the whole he's a disappointment. That's how I currently see Zaha.

Perhaps he suffers from the defensive side of Freedman's tactics? NoDoesn't have too many players around him in the last third of the pitch to pick out and so has to try to do too much on his own? Not something I could judge on the limited games I've seen this season though

I like Clyne and Speroni is better than our keepers.
I'd take Zaha but only to sell him straight away. The money would be handy, but would have no interest in playing the cheating little show pony.

Jedinak is not nearly at Bridcutt's level. Not even comparable.

I presume the guy suggesting FFS Parr was a WUM.

Maybe - the Walcott comparison is a good one. Who's to say whether he'll get that second burst of development. His end product is much better than last year, but no way perfect. Perhaps he'd be better as a second striker rather than part of a 5-man midfield with 2 DMs.

Can we take some of their cheerleaders too?

That's not a bad call. I like the girl-next-door appeal of Gully's Girls, and a few of them are very pretty, but it wouldn't hurt to mix it up a bit by adding a couple of really filthy looking Palace stunnas, with spray tans and massive fake tits.

Oh behave - Zaha's a cheat but Buckley isn't? Wilf gets kicked all over the place by Championship cloggers and has finally sussed he might as well go down once in a while to get a pen.

Jedi has 50 international caps. Bridcutt has a silly name that creates the anagram 'Bride c*nt'. Nearly.

None - why would I want anybody who has sullied themselves in the smeggy sons colours to walk out proudly in the blue and white stripes. Its a nonsense of an idea which has never worked in the past and will never work in the future either.
